Following a 12 year career in the advertising industry I realised a life ambition and became a therapist. I am a fully qualified member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (MBACP). I hold an advanced diploma in Humanistic Integrative Therapy from the Centre for Personal & Professional Development in North London (CPPD). This allows me to meet a clients’ therapeutic needs by drawing on a number of theorists,  working with those that are most helpful in that moment.

I have previously worked as a counsellor in a secondary school, as a grief counsellor for a local borough, in a women’s charity, and in private practice. I offer integrative psychotherapy  sessions to help with troubling emotional problems. My counselling provides a safe and supportive space in which you can explore your life in an environment free of judgement or criticism. Through this process I will work with you to enable  you to gain greater insight and understanding of the thoughts, beliefs and behaviours that affect your life and relationships.

The therapy can be either long or short term and is as individual as your own needs and story.  In my experience growth in self-awareness and understanding provides  happiness and freedom. I work with a wide range of ages and issues including depression, anxiety, bereavement, low self-esteem, relationship issues, sexuality and parenting. Following an initial assessment we will agree to work together at a weekly fixed time.
